Hanging Boy

Originally released back 1988 this is is considered Slayer’s most sought after t-shirt because it was instantly banned and deemed controversial upon release so there were not many made. The urban legend behind the picture is the story of a young guy who is a metal head and he receives a letter that he has been accepted into the army, when they demand that he cuts his hair and doesn’t bring any audio equipment with him on the day he signs up he goes on and commits suicide because he doesn’t want to cut his hair or lose his metal identity and mandatory suicide is the song that matches the picture. Fast forward to 2019 and Australian fiend @knowledge_editions took it upon himself and made a sick but long gone sold out bootleg of this holy grail. He kindly let us use his original designs on a @reigning t-shirt for those that missed out the first time. No reprints as usual, get them while they last.

Dimitris Lilis – Reigning mix

Dimitris Lilis is a busy man. He is a dj, radio producer, label owner and music journalist. He has been running parties in Athens since the early 00’s with his brother as The Flying Lilis Brothers hosting Andrew Weatherall and Optimo to name but a few, he’s the main force and radio producer in Avopolis Radio and also runs the Just Gazing record label which you should definitely check. Always on the right side of cool he’s dedicated in bringing you the freshest of fresh. Here’s his mix for Reigning.

Mr Stinson – Reigning mix

Music weirdo, radio producer, club promoter & dj since the early 00s, based in Athens (Greece). As a dj, he’s well known for his genre defying sets, playing anything from obscure disco to techno. As a radio producer, he has a knack for discovering obscure records & presenting them in new & interesting ways. He is also the man behind the notorious mobile party Deaf Ears Disco Cult, along with his partner in crime Pene.

What would the KLF do? Steal and use without any sort of permission anything you like, if their lawyers find out about you take the remaining stock and burn it in a field while blasting ABBA through the speakers. This is a tribute to the myth that is KLF, very limited quantities as always take yours before we get shut down.

Spring has sprung and we have a new entry for our podacast series, this one is coming from Athens based Dj, radio producer and a devoted balearic paramour and 1/2 of Express Skopelitis party outfit Discojuice.
